1. Who operates WordSeeker
WordSeeker is operated by the publisher identified in the applicable app store listing for the app. In this policy, "WordSeeker," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that publisher and the WordSeeker services.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Wallet and authentication data, including your public Solana wallet address, nonce requests, signed authentication messages, and session token metadata.
- Profile data, including your chosen username and username-change timestamps.
- Gameplay data, including run history, guesses, scores, completion status, time-based results, achievements, quests, streaks, levels, inventory, and in-game economy balances.
- Referral data, including your referral code, referred wallet addresses, whether a referral completed a first game, and related reward state.
- Transaction and prize data, including shard purchase transaction signatures, purchase amounts, pot contributions, payout records, and public leaderboard positions.
- Technical and security data, including IP address, HTTP request logs, rate-limit events, server timestamps, and routine hosting or telemetry data when enabled by the service operator.
- Device-local data, including app settings, local avatar image URI, cached profile values, and cached auth tokens stored on your device through app storage.
3. Permissions and device access
The current app requests photo library access only if you choose to set a local profile avatar. That avatar selection is stored locally on your device in the current implementation and is not uploaded to the WordSeeker backend by the app code in this repository.
The current app code does not request your contacts, precise location, or camera access for core gameplay.
4. How we use information
- To authenticate wallet owners and protect access to gameplay data.
- To run the daily game, save progress, calculate scores, manage inventory, and maintain leaderboards.
- To process referral rewards, player progression, and pot or payout logic.
- To verify blockchain-linked purchase activity and prevent fraud, duplicate claims, abuse, or automated attacks.
- To operate, maintain, debug, secure, and improve the app and backend services.
- To respond to support requests, legal notices, or compliance obligations.
5. How information is shared
We may share information in the following limited situations:
- With infrastructure, hosting, database, logging, analytics, or telemetry providers that help us operate the service.
- With blockchain infrastructure or wallet providers as needed to validate wallet signatures, read transaction data, or support payout transparency.
- With other players through public or semi-public features such as leaderboards, visible usernames, pot statistics, or wallet-address-based ranking displays.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, platform integrity, or the security of the service.
- In connection with a merger, sale, restructuring, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
WordSeeker does not sell personal information for money. If we ever materially change our data-sharing practices, this policy should be updated before that change takes effect.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the game, maintain fairness, support player accounts, preserve security logs, comply with law, resolve disputes, and document on-chain or prize related activity. Blockchain records and public wallet activity may be permanent or outside our direct control.
7. Your choices
- You can disconnect your wallet and stop using the service at any time.
- You can delete or change local app data by removing the app or clearing local storage on your device, subject to platform behavior.
- You can choose not to grant photo library access; the avatar feature is optional.
- You can contact us to request review, correction, or deletion of account-linked backend data associated with your wallet address, subject to verification, legal obligations, fraud-prevention needs, and records we cannot modify on-chain.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect data, but no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your wallet access, device access, and any credentials under your control.
9. Children
WordSeeker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can review the report.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above indicates when the current version took effect. Material updates should be reflected in the public version of this page before or when the updated practice begins.
